Songs of Christmas

We are familiar with Christmas carols, but there are four songs recorded in the Bible to celebrate the birth of Jesus that many are not familiar with. Zerchariah sang a song of faith because he saw that God was at work in the silence. Mary sang a song of trust to God after she accepted the news she was to be the mother of our Savior. The angels sang a song of peace to the shepherds in the fields of life. Simeon sang a song of hope because the Savior had now entered the world. These are the songs of Christmas; may they birth a spirit of praise and celebrations in our hearts this Christmas season.
